With a career spanning over two decades in the financial industry, James Lacey brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role as Managing Director at TSG Wealth Management. His journey began in 1998, driven by a passion for assisting families in achieving their financial goals.
A native of the Bay Area, James has deep roots in California and a broad understanding of the local financial landscape. What sets James apart is his commitment to client success. He thrives on the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of his clients, ensuring that their financial objectives are met with precision and care.
James joined TSG Wealth Management in 2024 and he appreciates the collaborative culture and client-centric approach that defines the practice. He values the TSG team's dedication to putting clients first, coupled with an environment that fosters innovation and excellence.
However, James is not just a financial professional; he's a dedicated family man, married to Shaw, with three grown children. He is a sports enthusiast, proudly supporting the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He also enjoys honing his skills on the tennis court, indulging in his passion for fishing and hunting, and exploring the natural beauty of Kauai, Hawaii on vacation.
Further, James is committed to making a difference in the community beyond his professional endeavors, James actively volunteers for habitat restoration initiatives and provides support to veteran hunt programs.
James earned his degree from California State University, Chico, and holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations, in addition to the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®) designation. He believes his credentials underscore his commitment to providing exceptional financial guidance and service to his clients.
