Jeffrey D. Garton has been serving clients in the wealth management field since November 1999. Shaped by the strength and determination of his family, Jeff brings a deeply personal mission to his work: to honor that resilience by changing the trajectory of his own life—and helping others do the same—through disciplined, thoughtful wealth planning.
Now a Managing Director at TSG Wealth Management, Jeff focuses on guiding clients toward the retirement they envision—using customized investment planning strategies and clear, consistent guidance. Just as importantly, he takes pride in mentoring the next generation of professionals within the practice, helping instill values of service, integrity, and impact.
Jeff was drawn to TSG because of its team-oriented culture and strong leadership, and he knew from the very beginning that this was the right place to grow his career. At TSG, he contributes to a practice where transparency, collaboration, and client-first thinking are part of the daily fabric.
A proud Fresno native, Jeff has spent most of his life in California—aside from the nearly four years he served in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He attended Fresno City College and Fresno State University but proudly considers his greatest education to be his military service.
Jeff has earned recognition throughout his career, including 12 years as part of the Platinum Council (2025*, 2023, 2015-2021**). He holds a strong commitment to the veteran community and supports causes close to his heart, including the Ronald McDonald House. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys coaching his kids in sports—especially soccer—and playing golf when he finds time for himself. His favorite getaway is the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Jeff is the proud father of three children and considers being a dad the greatest joy and purpose in his life. He is also an enthusiastic sports fan, cheering for the Los Angeles Rams and the Atlanta Braves.
