Managing Director
William (Bill) Boggs is a Managing Director at TSG Wealth Management, where he brings two decades of experience helping clients achieve financial clarity and long-term success. After retiring as a Naval Pilot, Bill transitioned to the financial industry in 2005 as a way to continue his commitment to service. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2008 and holds Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations, as well as a California Life Insurance License.
At TSG, Bill is passionate about educating and empowering clients to make informed financial decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build lasting wealth that enhances both lifestyle and legacy. He values TSG’s culture of professionalism, excellence, and family, which aligns with his own approach to guiding clients with care and integrity.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bill is deeply committed to serving his community. He is a founding Board Member and current Board Chair of Support The Enlisted Project (STEP), a nonprofit dedicated to improving the financial wellness of military families and veterans. His leadership and impact in this role earned him recognition as one of San Diego Business Journal’s Nonprofit Board Leaders of Influence in 2025.
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Bill has lived across the U.S. and abroad before settling in San Diego in 1988. He is a graduate of the University of San Diego (’94) and has been married to his wife, Kathryn, for 30 years. Together they have three children—Danielle, Helene, and Tim—and a beloved Bernadoodle named Teddi.
In his free time, Bill enjoys cycling, running, and flying. A fan of college basketball, he cheers for Gonzaga and Boise State, and follows the Tour de France with enthusiasm. He also loves traveling to Hawaii and Europe.
