Brock Wilson is a Vice President of TSG Wealth Management and leads the sports wealth management business from the TSG office in Las Vegas. Prior to joining TSG, Brock served in various advisory roles with banks and boutique advisors in Asia and the US where he specialized in core portfolio management and alternative investments.

 

In 2003 Brock accepted an official role with the United States’ Government and served in various capacities in Greater China and the Middle East until 2011.

 

From 1998 to 2003 Brock built a financial advisory practice based on 45 professional basketball players and 10 NFL players at Salomon Smith Barney in San Francisco. This included several Chinese and other international players.

 

In 1998 Brock was hired to bring Liu Wei and Yao Ming of the Shanghai Sharks from Shanghai to the United States for advanced basketball training for three months. Over the past three decades Brock has served as interpreter and liaison between U.S. basketball organizations and China.

 

Brock holds a degree in Mandarin from the University of Oregon and attended graduate school at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, a premier Mandarin language graduate program, where he received a certificate in Chinese economics and trade.

Brock is a lifelong basketball fanatic and has traveled the world playing and watching basketball and making friends.  Brock was responsible for Bringing Yao Ming from China to the US originally in 1998.
