Carol Smith is a talented and skilled Managing Director at the TSG Wealth Management – Santa Fe office. For well over two decades, Carol has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound investment strategies. She believes that her previous experience as an institutional fixed income portfolio analyst and portfolio manager have provided insights that help her to serve in her current capacity.
Carol’s multifaceted experience gained throughout many historical market cycles enables her to help structure balanced portfolios designed to address client specific goals and work towards a more confident financial future. She is most proud of the multigenerational services that she is able to offer families and the ability to help grow and preserve their assets.
She has the ability to interface extremely well with accountants and attorneys, and she provides extraordinary attention to detail, and persistent follow-through on all requests. Integrity, objective advice, attention to detail, and an unwavering concern for the well-being of her clients are the hallmarks of her client service model and the TSG Wealth Management culture.
Carol has been recognized as one of the Platinum Council Advisors (2009-2022) by Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. She has been in attendance at the national Barron’s annual invitation-only Women Advisors higher-education summits from 2007-2022.
Outside the office, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to visit her children in Los Angeles and New York. Some of her favorite hobbies include walking her dogs, skiing, and watching professional basketball. Her favorite team to watch is the Los Angeles Lakers.
