Daniel Ledbetter, CIMA® is a seasoned finance professional, currently serving as the Managing Director at the TSG Wealth Management Antelope Valley Office. With a career spanning over two decades, Daniel’s journey in the financial industry has been marked by a relentless commitment to excellence, a deep passion for finance and economics and a profound dedication to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

 

Daniel entered the financial world in 1999, immediately after his graduation from college with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1998 from California State University, Bakersfield where he graduated with honors cum laude. He had a passion for math and finance and thus pursued higher education by earning a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance in 2004. Also from California State University, Bakersfield. His commitment to professional growth is further evident in his attainment of the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation in 2008 from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

 

One of Daniel’s driving forces in the financial industry is his genuine love for finance and economics, coupled with his unwavering fascination with the intricacies of the financial markets. He finds joy in working closely with clients, engaging in meaningful conversations about life and helping them navigate their unique financial journeys. For Daniel, these interactions are not just about investment planning but also about learning from his clients as he helps them achieve their goals.

 

Born in 1974 at Bay Harbor Hospital in Harbor City, Daniel’s childhood dreams revolved around mathematics, a potential career in law or entrepreneurship. This early insight into his passions laid the foundation for his future in finance and serving others.

 

Daniel’s life journey has led him to various places, including Torrance, Panorama City, Lancaster, and Palmdale, providing him with diverse experiences and perspectives.

 

Outside of the financial world, Daniel is an avid practitioner of physical exercise and martial arts. With over half of his life dedicated to training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing and Karate, he finds balance and discipline through these pursuits. In various Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments since 2006, Daniel has earned gold, silver, and bronze medals.

 

Daniel also has a love for travel that centers around destinations near the coast or beach, reflecting his appreciation for the serenity of coastal landscapes and the activities that they offer.

 

In his personal life, Daniel is married to his wife, Susan, a Project Manager at Northrop Grumman. They share their life with two wonderful daughters, Mckenzie and Ariana, along with their aquatic companions, pet fish.

 

As a sports enthusiast, Daniel passionately supports LA-based teams, including the Lakers, Raiders, Dodgers, and Kings. He’s been a dedicated fan even through the Raiders’ multiple relocations.

 

Daniel is also passionate about causes that drive progress, such as space exploration, disease research and the promotion of a harmonious society with reduced discord. While not tied to any one organization in particular, Daniel has contributed his time and expertise to various organizations over the years, aligning with his commitment to making a positive impact.

Daniel’s commitment to education extends beyond his financial career. He has been an adjunct professor since 2005, teaching courses in Managerial Economics, Investments, and Business Math at institutions like Antelope Valley College and California State University Bakersfield.
