Dmitry Matousov is privileged and responsible for helping his select group of clients build, manage, preserve and transition their wealth. Wealth management encompasses investments; liability management; non-portfolio risk management; estate planning and trust strategies through affiliates.
Dmitry follows a disciplined process prioritizing listening to and understanding his clients’ current situation, past financial experiences and goals for the future. With the information his clients share with him he studies, tests, analyzes and develops strategies to help address their needs and objectives. His advice is objective, unbiased and cost-effective. Evaluating the performance of his clients’ plans is an on-going process.
As material changes occur in the markets and as changes inevitably occur in his clients’ lives, he’ll suggest appropriate adjustments to their plans. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, he has completed rigorous examinations in the field of investment planning; he is committed to advanced training; and he is held to stringent ethical standards of professional conduct.
Born in Russia, his family emigrated to Israel. He served three years in the Israeli Defense Forces learning the meaning of discipline and perseverance. His interest in film and photography led to a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Tel Aviv; his interest in business led to an MBA from Cal State-Northridge.
When he is not in the office, he may be at the Del Rey Yacht Club where he enjoys competitive sailing which taught him importance of being adaptable to changing conditions and holding the safety of his crew paramount at all times – lessons he applies daily in his financial practice.
