Gavin Thornburg

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, Gavin went on to complete his Master’s degree in Accounting at the University of Utah. He began his professional career as a CPA within the consulting practice at Deloitte, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions.
In that role, Gavin supported data analytics and financial due diligence engagements for some of the largest global private equity firms, including TPG, Leonard Green & Partners, and TA Associates. His work focused on analyzing complex financial datasets and evaluating revenue retention across a range of industries. Gavin now brings his background in accounting and transaction advisory to TSG Wealth Management.
Outside of his professional work, Gavin is a volunteer with the Pacific Symphony at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, where he assists with both mainstage concerts and educational outreach performances. A longtime enthusiast of classical music and music theory, Gavin often enjoys making and listening to music. He also volunteers regularly in his local church congregation.
Gavin and his wife recently moved from Salt Lake City to Orange County and are the proud parents of a six-month-old baby boy, Tommy.
