Jeffrey Oetman’s career in the financial industry began in 1998, where he started as an assistant and quickly found his passion for building relationships and assisting families with their financial needs. As a Managing Director with The Veritas Group at TSG Wealth Management, Jeffrey thrives in a collaborative team environment, finding immense fulfillment in working closely with his business partner, Chris Corona, with whom he shares a professional bond spanning 26 years.
Professionally, Jeffrey boasts over 20 years of experience, now serving as a Managing Director for The Veritas Group, where he specialized in retirement planning for individuals and small businesses. His expertise extends to insurance services, encompassing long-term care, policy review, and wealth transfer strategies. Prior to joining TSG, Jeffrey held the position of Vice President and Financial Consultant at Wells Fargo Private Client Services, where he provided comprehensive wealth management solutions to affluent individuals and families across San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, and Paso Robles.
Jeffrey holds Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, in addition to his CA life and disability insurance license. He is deeply committed to ensuring a positive client experience and values the opportunity to assist clients in achieving their retirement aspirations.
Born in St. Helena, CA, in 1969, Jeffrey spent his formative years in the Bay Area before settling in the serene coastal town of Avila Beach, CA. As a child, he harbored dreams of becoming a professional soccer player, a testament to his enduring love for sports.
Jeffrey’s dedication extends beyond his professional endeavors to his family life, where he cherishes his over 20-year marriage to his wife, Carrie, and takes pride in nurturing their two children Benjamin and Ella, and beloved Vizsla named Laney.
Outside of work, Jeffrey relishes the tranquil shores of Avila Beach, enjoys playing soccer on the beach, and delights in supporting his children’s activities. He actively engages in volunteering activities, particularly with his children’s sports and schools, contributing to the betterment of his community.
