John Szymura has worked in the finance and wealth management industry since 2008. His primary focus is assisting high net worth clients accumulate, manage, preserve and transfer wealth.
John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in the Southwestern U.S., primarily in Texas and California. He attended the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California where he graduated with a degree in investment finance. John currently holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as the California insurance license.
In his spare time John enjoys the company of his wife Olga, son John Wyatt (JW), and German Shepherd Bella. John is inspired by his son JW and says that seeing him grow up and wanting to give him the best life possible drives him to improve on a daily basis.
He is an avid outdoor enthusiast with a special fondness for saltwater angling, golfing and surfing. John previously served on the board of Marina del Rey Anglers, a 501(c)3 company, and volunteers for the Ocean Resources Enhancement and Hatchery Program.
When asked how he ended up at TSG Wealth Management? John responded, “I have always been very entrepreneurial, but knew little about my industry growing. I credit my grandmother for my business interests as she owned a successful dry cleaners when I was growing up. While attending USC I applied for a summer internship at Morgan Stanley in their wealth management division. Once I started, I immediately knew that I found my calling. I love the entrepreneurial spirit, intellectually challenging work, and above all, being able to make a difference in people’s lives.”

John has trained German Shepherds for the last decade. He was invited to attend a private class by chance with his rescued German Shepherd Luna and was hooked from day one. Over the years he has helped numerous private GSD owners in the development of the breed’s obedience, tracking, and protection capabilities.
