Joshua Nowasell is a Senior Registered Client Associate and Vice President at Garcia, Barnblatt, Foster of TSG Wealth Management. With a wealth of experience in the financial industry, Joshua’s journey began in 2012 when he embarked on his career in wealth management as an institutional client associate with Charles Schwab. He further expanded his expertise through corporate investment banking with JP Morgan before joining Wells Fargo Advisors in New York City as a Senior Registered Client Associate in 2015. In 2017, Joshua found his true professional home with the Garcia, Barnblatt, Foster Wealth Management Group which teamed up with TSG Wealth Management in 2023.
What Joshua enjoys most about the financial industry and his role is the opportunity to continuously learn and explore all aspects of financial management. His dedication to exceptional service led him to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2020, providing him valuable insights into the comprehensive realm of Wealth Management. Armed with this knowledge, Joshua can now offer clients a broader scope of services beyond simple transactional requests, helping to ensure their financial needs are met with expertise and care.

Born in Buffalo, NY in 1985, Joshua’s early aspirations of becoming a Dolphin Trainer evolved as he grew older and developed a strong passion for the financial world. He embraced a frugal lifestyle even as a child and has always felt an inherent alignment with the financial industry.
Having lived in various vibrant locations, including New York City, Tampa, and Orlando in Florida, Joshua currently resides in Walnut Creek, CA. In his leisure time, he indulges in a variety of hobbies, such as boating, swimming, playing video games, and traveling. With an impressive travel record of visiting 21 countries across five continents, Joshua aspires to explore all seven continents. Southeast Asia holds a special place in his heart, being his favorite travel destination thus far.
Family plays an essential role in Joshua’s life. He is happily married to his spouse, Jason, and they share their lives with two beloved Cavalier Spaniels named Oliver and Baxter. Their furry companions bring joy and companionship to their household.
Driven by a love for animals, Joshua is passionate about supporting causes that prioritize animal welfare and conservation. He actively contributes to organizations like the San Diego Zoological Society and participates in efforts aimed at conserving Koala habitat in Australia. During their travels, Joshua and his spouse make it a priority to visit local animal sanctuaries and engage in conservation efforts, channeling their passion into meaningful action.
Joshua’s educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Commerce and a bachelor’s degree in International Business, French, and Marketing, both obtained from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY in 2008.
With a dedication to professional growth and expertise, Joshua holds several licenses and registrations, including the series 7 and 66 registrations, as well as an Insurance License and the CFP® designation.
