Senior Client Associate
Karen Ursua

Karen Ursua knew what she wanted to be long before she knew such a job existed. Growing up in Manila, she dreamed of becoming a banker, picturing a career that would let her see the world and work with clients wherever they happened to be. That childhood vision became reality in 2003, when she began her career as a teller at Wells Fargo, and it has guided her ever since.

In 2017, Karen moved into the investment side of the business and began working alongside Lance Dunn, Managing Director, an experience that shaped how she thinks about this work. Watching Lance help clients reach their goals showed her the difference thoughtful guidance can make, and it deepened a passion she carries to this day: a genuine love for the people she serves. She is especially drawn to longtime clients, who share stories of how they built their success over a lifetime.

What draws Karen to TSG Wealth Management is possibility, the chance to bring clients a wider range of investment opportunities and to help them pursue goals that once felt out of reach. She approaches every relationship with the same care she brings to her own family, guided by a belief that the details matter and that people deserve someone who will sweat them.

Karen has lived in many places, from Manila to Hawaii, Illinois, the Bay Area, and now California’s Central Valley. She and her husband have been together for 23 years and married for 18, and together they are raising their son alongside Kiwi, their beloved and now blind and deaf Yorkie. On weekends you will often find the family watching sports, though rarely rooting for the same team; Karen holds firm as a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, cheering on the 49ers for the sake of her husband and son, whose recent admiration for Shohei Ohtani has the household tuning in to Dodgers games too.
