Matt Holzwarth launched his wealth management career in 2010, drawn by a clear sense of purpose: in the aftermath of the Global Financial Crisis, he saw firsthand how many families needed steady, trustworthy guidance to rebuild confidence in their financial futures. That calling has shaped his practice ever since. What motivates him most is the challenge each client brings, a unique set of circumstances, goals, and priorities that he approaches as a puzzle worth solving carefully and well.
Born in San Mateo, California, Matt grew up in the Bay Area before attending Paradise High School and going on to earn his degree from Chico State University. He has called Chico home ever since, building both his career and his community ties in the North State. He volunteers with the California Waterfowl Association, reflecting a deep passion for wildlife conservation that extends well beyond the office.
Matt and his wife have been married for over 15 years and are raising a son and a daughter, along with two dogs. When it is time to get away, his travel philosophy is simple: wherever his wife wants to go. Closer to home, he is an avid fisherman and a loyal fan of Duke Basketball and San Francisco Giants baseball.
