Mike James Kratzke brings over two decades of financial expertise to his role as Managing Director at TSG Wealth Management’s Las Vegas office. His journey in the financial industry commenced in 1996, following his military service. Introduced to wealth management by former Army colleagues, Mike felt like he found his calling in the world of finance. He got his start at Prudential Securities, marking the beginning of a career dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

 

Born in Riverside, California, Mike’s childhood dream was to become a professional basketball player. However, standing at only 5’7″ led him to redirect his aspirations towards a field where height was not a limiting factor.

 

Mike’s geographic journey spans from Los Angeles, where he spent his early years, to military assignments in Korea, Central America, and various locations across the United States. After military service, he lived in Monterey and San Francisco from 1997 to 2002 before making Las Vegas his home in 2004.

 

Beyond his financial endeavors, Mike’s favorite hobby is playing Hacky Sack, showcasing a skill that adds a touch of leisure to his busy schedule. His preferred travel destination is the Big Island, Hawaii, where he finds solace and relaxation.  Mike also passionately supports the Raiders, a welcomed addition to the Las Vegas sports scene.

 

Family plays a central role in Mike’s life. A proud father to two daughters, with a grandchild and another on the way. The Kratzke household is complete with two dogs and a cat.

 

In terms of licensing, Mike holds Series 3, 7, 8, 63, and 65 registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses, underscoring his commitment to comprehensive financial services.

Mike, between ages 10 and 14, was considered one of the best skimboarders in Laguna Beach, CA. He placed fourth as a walk on in the 1980 Skimboarding Championship and was trusted to test new boards for a local skimboard company. He spent 8 hours skimming every single day throughout the summer and after school showing his dedication and proficiency in the sport.
