Rob Nagle’s journey into the financial industry began in 1999, shortly after completing his master’s in public administration. Arriving in San Luis Obispo, Rob applied to various public sector positions, landing a job with the county’s independent retirement department—a twist of fate that propelled him into the financial realm.
The allure of the financial industry lies in its ever-evolving nature, a sentiment Rob echoes in his role at The Veritas Group of TSG Wealth Management. For him, every day brings new challenges and opportunities, keeping him engaged and driven to navigate the ever changing financial landscape.
What motivates Rob to continue is his personal quest to identify opportunities and avert disasters in a financial environment that is prone to constant change. At TSG, he finds inspiration in the vision and the collective spirit of the team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Born in 1971 in Walnut Creek, CA, Rob spent his formative years in the town of Mt. Shasta. As a child, he dreamed of working as a Ski Patrol — showcasing his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. His love of adventure and the journey has taken him through various locales, including Mt. Shasta, Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Walnut Creek, San Luis Obispo, and Los Osos.
Outside the financial arena, Rob finds solace in surfing, a passion that connects him with nature and offers moments of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. His favorite travel destination is Costa Rica, offering both the beauty of its landscapes, a welcoming culture and word class surfing.
Rob’s family and community are pillars in his life. He has been married to his beautiful wife Erin for over 20 years and they are the proud parents to Lauren and Ben. Committed to making a positive impact in his community, Rob is a dedicated supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO County and he volunteers with Operation Surf, an organization dedicated to supporting injured veterans and their families.
Rob’s academic journey includes degrees from UC Santa Cruz, CSU Hayward (East Bay) with a master’s in public administration, and California Lutheran University, where he earned an MBA. He also holds his Series 7 and 65 registrations.
