Russell Hicks brings a strong analytical foundation and client-focused mindset to his role as a Client Associate at Garcia, Barnblatt, Foster of TSG Wealth Management. After earning both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno—with an emphasis in International Finance—he entered the financial services industry to connect data-driven analysis with meaningful, goal-oriented wealth planning.
Russell thrives in the fast-moving nature of the markets and values being part of a collaborative practice where diverse perspectives support better client outcomes. Motivated by preparation, discipline, and continuous improvement, he is committed to delivering thoughtful service and dependable support to the clients he serves.
Born in Tucson, Arizona, Russell grew up in Bishop, California, and later returned to Reno, where he pitched for the University of Nevada baseball team. Outside the office, he is an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about environmental stewardship, volunteering with organizations such as Biggest Little Trail Stewardship, the Sugar Pine Foundation, and One Truckee River.
Russell is passionate about sports—especially baseball—and enjoys following the progress of former teammates now playing professionally. He has successfully completed Level I of the CFA Program and continues pursuing professional growth within the industry.
