Thomas (Tom) C. Trauger, Jr., CFP® is a Managing Director at the TSG Wealth Management – Irvine location.
Tom’s passion for guiding others through the investment planning process began at an early age after leading his high school Economics classmates to victory in a mock investment project.
In 2012 Tom graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification from the College for Financial Planning in 2019.
Prior to joining the TSG team, Tom served as the Managing Principal and co-founder of Apex Investment Planning Services serving high net worth clients across the country. Tom began his career as an Advisor at Sage Point Financial and went on to serve as a Registered Associate for UBS Financial Services. Tom holds the Series 7, Series 24, Series 66 registrations and Life, Health, Annuities, Insurance licenses.
Tom is committed to helping individuals develop financial and investment strategies that align with their needs, goals, and risk tolerance. His mission is to provide every client with targeted, comprehensive financial advice and portfolio management – delivered with the highest level of personal service.
Away from the office, Tom enjoys spending time on the golf course, at the beach, or in the mountains. Tom resides in Costa Mesa with his wife Melissa and their bernedoodle, Leo.
