Vickie Y. Tanabe is a Senior Registered Client Associate at TSG, bringing nearly four decades of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1985—thanks to a tip from a family friend—and has since built a reputation for reliability, resilience, and exceptional client support through three practice mergers. Her deep understanding of client service, operations, and the ever-evolving financial landscape makes her a valuable asset to both her team and clients.

Holding Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations, Vickie combines technical knowledge with a highly personalized approach to client service. She values the collaborative culture and flexibility that TSG offers, including the ability to work from home, and enjoys being part of a team where people genuinely care about their clients and each other.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Vickie has lived throughout Southern California and now resides in La Palma. She and her husband David, a retired aerospace engineer, have been married since 1987 and have two sons, Bryan and Blake. A lifelong tomboy, Vickie enjoys playing sports—especially pickleball—and balances her competitive streak with a love for baking. She is also a dedicated sports fan, closely following the Lakers, Dodgers, and CSULB Men’s Volleyball.

Vickie and her family have hosted Japanese students marching in the Rose Parade since 2011, an annual tradition they find deeply rewarding. She has also volunteered extensively through her sons’ athletic and school communities.
