Sep 21, 2026 A Family Legacy, A Career Her Own: Alexa Schulten Joins The Petrie Group
TSG Wealth Management is honored to welcome Alexa Schulten as a Client Relationship Manager with The Petrie Group of TSG Wealth Management, based in the Incline Village, Nevada office. Her arrival marks a rare milestone: three generations of one family now share a commitment to the same practice, even as Alexa steps into a career that is distinctly her own.
Alexa joins TSG as an accomplished professional in her own right. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, she earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Master’s in Finance, graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. While there, she also served as President of Claremont Women in Business and played shortstop for the softball team. She spent four years in Boston advising private equity firms on investment decisions through commercial due diligence before deciding to build a career around something she valued more: personal, long-term relationships with the individuals and families behind the numbers.
“I loved the analytical side of my work, but what I wanted was to know the people I was helping and walk alongside them for the long term,” said Alexa. “Joining The Petrie Group lets me do that, and getting to build on what my family has spent decades creating makes it all the more meaningful.”
That family legacy runs deep at TSG. The practice was founded more than five decades ago by Alexa’s grandfather, Warren Schulten, on a single guiding principle: put the client’s interests first and consistently exceed expectations. Those relationships have since carried across generations, extending to clients’ own children and grandchildren, the very kind of continuity Alexa now helps carry forward.
She does so alongside her mother, Lisa Petrie, CFP®, Managing Director and founder of The Petrie Group. Lisa came to the profession by following her own father into the industry, and over the years she has grown The Petrie Group into one of the region’s most respected practices, partnering with entrepreneurs, business owners, and active families on wealth preservation, tax-efficient investing, charitable giving, and multigenerational planning. Her work has earned wide recognition, including a #1 ranking in Nevada among Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors and The Petrie Group’s place on the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list.
In that light, Alexa’s arrival carries a legacy on both sides of her family. Her grandfather Warren founded TSG on a client-first promise, and her mother followed her own father into the same profession, so a commitment to serving families across generations runs through both branches of Alexa’s family tree. Just as The Petrie Group partners with clients to build upon their legacies, Lisa now works side by side with her daughter to do the same for their own.
“Watching Alexa choose this path, and choose it for the right reasons, has been one of the great joys of my career,” said Lisa. “She brings real analytical horsepower and a genuine heart for people, and our clients are already better for having her on the team.”
For Alexa’s father, Mark Schulten, Managing Partner of TSG, the moment carries both professional and personal weight.
“We have built TSG around advisors who put clients first, and Alexa embodies that standard on her own merits,” said Mark. “Seeing her join The Petrie Group, and seeing what she brings to it, is something I feel honored to witness as both her father and as Managing Partner.”
What Warren founded, he built alongside his son Mark and Allen Schreiber, TSG Partner, and it is Mark and Allen who have driven much of the growth that has made TSG one of the leading practices in the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. For Allen, Alexa’s arrival reflects the caliber of talent the team continues to attract.
“Alexa would be a standout addition at any practice in this business, and she chose to build her career here,” said Allen. “That says as much about her as it does about the team and the standard this family has set from the beginning.”
It is a full-circle moment three generations in the making, and one that speaks to the enduring nature of what this family, and the partners alongside them, have built together.
“When I started this practice, my hope was to build something that would outlast me and keep serving families for generations,” said Warren. “To see my granddaughter carry that same commitment forward, in her own way, is more than I ever could have asked for.”
