May 15, 2025 Service, Strategy, and Sustainability: Gavin Moeller Shines as the EOTQ
TSG Wealth Management is proud to recognize Gavin Moeller, Trading Associate, as our Employee of the Quarter (EOTQ).
Gavin has quickly become an essential part of the TSG trading team, known for his dedication, strategic mindset, and collaborative approach. His journey into finance began with a fascination for cryptocurrency during his freshman year of college in 2017. That early interest evolved into a deep commitment to financial markets, ultimately leading him to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
After returning to Arizona, Gavin joined TSG as a Registered Client Associate and was soon promoted to Trading Associate. Reflecting on the honor, he shares, “It feels great to be named Employee of the Quarter, but it is an even greater testament to the strong team I have around me at TSG. None of my accomplishments would be possible without our wonderful, dedicated client associates and our vast, knowledgeable core of managing directors.”
Gavin’s humility and work ethic have made a clear impression. Nick Bero, Director of Trading, works directly with Gavin and shares, “Gavin is incredibly reliable, sharp, and solutions-oriented. He’s always willing to step up, and his attention to detail ensures our trading operations run smoothly. It’s been a pleasure to watch him grow into such a key asset on the team.”
His broader leadership team echoes that sentiment. Mark Schulten, Managing Partner at TSG, says, “Gavin exemplifies the values we hold dear at TSG—integrity, innovation, and a commitment to community. His dedication to both our clients and philanthropic efforts sets a high standard for all.”
Justin Breece, Managing Director in Scottsdale was Gavin’s first professional introduction into the financial world. He reflected that “Gavin’s enthusiasm and drive made a significant impact on our team. His proactive approach and genuine care for clients and the community are truly commendable.”
Each Employee of the Quarter is given the opportunity to direct a donation to a charity of their choice. Gavin selected AZStRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology), a nonprofit that reflects his values around sustainability and education. “AZStRUT is a local technology nonprofit that recycles old technology while also assisting the community with tech learning courses,” he explains. The organization provides refurbished devices to schools and community groups, while offering hands-on STEM training for students.
Outside of work, Gavin enjoys exploring innovative ideas that make a difference. He’s also an avid basketball player, a loyal Arizona Cardinals fan, and a proud dog dad to Kylo and Leia—named after the Star Wars characters.
